Ricardo Kelly Lugo

Ricardo Kelly Lugo, age 24 of North Chicago passed away suddenly Sunday, January 30, 2022 at home. Born September 6, 1997 in Highland Park to the union of Carlos P. and Maria (Ramirez) Lugo. He graduated from North Chicago High School, class of 2018. Ricky loved to cook and food was his passion in life, not only eating but especially when it came to cooking and grilling steaks. He started his restaurant career as a cook at Panera Bread, Maggiano's, Cheesecake Factory, Wildfire, Gibsons and concluding his short career at  Maggiano's in Vernon Hills.

Beloved son of Carlos P. and Maria Lugo. Loving brother of Marisol (fiancé Andy), Carlos J., and Daniel Lugo. Fond uncle of Hailey Moreno and Johnathan Lugo. Devoted grandson of paternal grandparents Ignacia Perez Esquivel and the late Carlos Lugo Rodriguez and maternal grandparents the late Guadalupe Ramirez Leiva and the late Julia Ramirez Lopez. Fond nephew of Socorro Ramirez (late Mario Ramirez), Abel Perez (Josefina Ramirez), Alberta Alonso (Amando Alonso), Marta Limon (Pascual Limon), Juan Ramirez (Anastacia Ramirez), Tomasa Tejeda and Felix Ramirez. Dear cousin to Carolina Ramirez (Manuel),  Rocia Ramirez, Josefina Perez (Daniel), Gabriela Alonso, Jorge and Erik Pascual, Julio Ramirez (Nicole), Alejandro Ramirez, Elizabeth Ramirez (Jose), Teresa Ramirez (Miguel), Maritza Tejeda (Anthony), Angelica Tejeda, Vivian Tejeda, Karina Ramirez, Julia Ramirez (Marisol), Anthony Ramirez and Johnathan Ramirez (Rebecca).
