Robert V. Congelosi, Sr.

Robert V. Congelosi, Sr. 75 of Round Lake Heights, IL and U.S. Air Force Veteran, passed away July 17, 2021 at Condell Medical Center of Libertyville, IL. He was born December 26, 1945 in Chicago, IL, and was the oldest child of six born to the union of Leonard and Dorothy Congelosi. He was a resident of Round Lake Heights for the past 47 years, and a 30 year retired employee of General Motors Local 2114.

Robert is survived by his children; Robert Congelosi, Jr. of Round Lake Heights, IL, Dominick (Mary) Congelosi of Wonder Lake, IL, and Rachel Yonan-Congelosi of Round Lake Heights, IL, Loving Beepa of grandsons; Thomas Sargis Yonan of Round Lake Heights, IL, and Joseph Leonard Yonan of Fox Lake, IL. His brothers and sisters; Leonard (Irma) Congelosi, of Naples, FL, Daniel (Lisa) Congelosi of Westchester, IL, Debi (Peter) Rosenberg of Elmwood Park, IL, Denise Vasquez of Stickney, IL. Russell Congelosi of Lake Geneva, WI, Many nieces, nephews and cousins, Preceded in death by his parents Leonard and Dorothy Congelosi, and his beloved wife Eileen Congelosi.

Visitation will be held Saturday, July 24, 2021 at 9:30 A.M. until time of funeral services at 11:00 A.M. at The Chapel, 25270 IL-Route 60 Grayslake, IL 60030, Interment to follow at the Avon Centre Cemetery of Grayslake, The Symonds Lakes Funeral Home of Grayslake was entrusted with the arrangements.
