Ronald Ivy

Ronald William James Lee Ivy, age 71 of Aurora, Illinois passed away peacefully on Monday, April 27, 2026. He was born January 13, 1955 in Chicago, Illinois to the union of Frank and Willie Mae (Johnson) Ivy.  Ronald lived a life filled with creativity, love and inspiration.  Ronald dedicated 24 years of his career to Cal-Tec, where his hard work and commitment left a lasting impression.  Beyond his professional life, he was deeply passionate about his artwork and music. These creative pursuits were not only a source of personal joy but also a way he connected with others and expressed his expressed his unique perspective of the world.

Ronald is survived by his wife and soul-mate, Tracee Stegall-Ivy. His sons Sean Stegall and Tyrone Sanders, daughter Bailey Schonenberger, brother Frank Ivy and grandchildren Kiara and Mario Stewart.

He is preceded in death by his parents Frank and Willie Mae Ivy, sons Mario Stewart and Ricardo Ivy, older brother Eddie Hendrix. Their memories remained close to his heart throughout his life.

Those who had the privilege of knowing Ronald remember him as an incredible man-giving, loving and insightful. His presence inspired everyone around him to strive for kindness and self-improvement. His legacy of love and creativity will continue to resonate in the lives he touched.
