Sandra was born on October 2, 1971 in Mexico City, Mexico to the union of Julian Cruz Gonzalez and Ocotlan Cruz Urbano. She married Julio Cesar Serrano Gomez on December 31, 1993 and passed away on their 27th wedding anniversary. Sandra emigrated to the Chicago area in December of 1999 and she worked for over 10 years at Creative Werk, in Bartlett.

Beloved wife of Julio Cesar Serrano Gomez. Loving mother of Jonathan Serrano Cruz. Dear sister of Sergio Cruz of Des Plaines. Fond aunt of Isela Alvarez of Libertyville and Alfredo Salazar of Park City. Fond cousin of Enrique Cruz of Madison, WI.

A memorial mass will be celebrated on Saturday, January 16, 2021 Noon at Divine Savior Parish, 6700 Main Street, Downers Grove, IL. Memorial contributions to the family would be appreciated.
