Stephen Tondi

Stephen Edward Tondi, age 69 a resident of Hillsboro, Wisconsin since the 1980s formerly of Highwood, Illinois passed away on Sunday, January 29, 2023 at the Gunderson Lutheran Medical Center, La Crosse, Wisconsin.  He was born April 15,1953 in Highland Park, Illinois to the union of Irwin and Gloria (Kamer) Tondi and grew up in Highwood, Illinois. He attended Oak Terrace School and was a graduate of Highland Park High School, class of 1971. He served in the U. S. Army Reserves for 20 years and worked at Camp McCoy, Sparta, Wisconsin.  He was a member of the Hillsboro Lions Club for 20 years.

Beloved brother of Susan Tondi Wilson of Las Cruces, New Mexico and Richard Tondi of Lake Forest, Illinois.

Private interment will be in the family lot at Ascension Cemetery, Libertyville and a celebration of life will be scheduled for the Spring of 2023.
