Steven Bruce Bielsker

Steven Bruce Bielsker age 73 of Glenwood, Illinois passed away on Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at Aperion Care Oak Lawn. He was born May 29, 1947 in Chicago, Illinois to the union of Harold and Sylvia (Bloom) Bielsker. He grew up in Chicago, Illinois and graduated from Bowen High School, class of 1965.  Received a bachelors degree in education from Northern Illinois University.  On March 9, 1974, at the Belden-Stratford Hotel, he married Renee Michelle Greenberg.  This was the beginning of a marriage filled with many happy memories.  Steven worked as a clothing salesman for M. Hyman and Sons, Rochester Big and Tall, and Jos.A. Bank. Steven could pick your suit size out from across the room.  He had impeccable taste in men’s clothing.  He was a collector of many things ranging from coins to cars.  Steven was a huge dog lover. He rescued many dogs in his lifetime. His dogs brought him great joy.

Beloved husband of 48 years to Renee. Loving father of Staci (Michael) Klein of Tinley Park and Rebecca (Stephen) Pagano of New Lenox. Fond grandfather of Benjamin and Lily Klein and Bella and Mila Pagano.  Dear brother of the late Marcia (late Edmund) Sterling. Dear brother-in-law of Lesley (Joseph) Izen of Wilmette. Cherished uncle to many.

Funeral services will be private. A graveside service and military honors by the U.S. Navy will be held on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 11:00 A.M. at Fort Sheridan Cemetery, Highwood, IL
