Tahir Shahu

Tahir Shahu, 73 vjec banues ne Glen Ellyn Chicago, dhe me perpara Greqi dhe Shqiperi nderroi jete te Marten, 9 Gusht 2022 ne shtepi i rrethuar nga familja e tij. I lindur ne 4 Maj 1949, i rritur dhe i edukuar ne Shqiperi. Tahiri ka qene artisit, shkrimtar, poet dhe komentator politik. Nje person me ndjenje te madhe humori, te gjithe do ta kujtojme per shkrimet  tij dhe per batutat e tij.

U shperngul ne Amerike para tre vjetesh per te qenduar prane vajzave, nipit dhe mbeses.

Tahiri ishte bashkeshorti i Selvi Shahu e cila u nda nga jeta ne 15 Gusht 2012. Babai i dashur i dy vajzave Elona ( Vangjush) Done dhe Anisa Shahu. Gjysh i Vanessa dhe Adam Done. Djali i Hamit dhe Zenepe Shahu. Vellai i Ballkeze Berdellima. Bukuri Berdellima, Refat Shahu, Liri Lila, Shkelqim Shahu dhe Suzana Berdellima.

Tahir Shahu, age 73 of Glen Ellyn formerly of Greece and Albania passed away on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at home surrounded by his family. Born May 4, 1949 in Albania to the union of Hamit and Zenepe (Nuro) Shahu, educated in Albania, Tahir was a poet, writer and political comentator of Albanian politics. A genuine man with a great sense of humor Tahir enjoyed reading, writing and swimming. He immigrated to the United States 3 years ago to be with family.

Beloved husband of Selvi on August 15, 2012 in Albania. Loving father of Elona (Vangjush) Done of Glen Ellyn and Anisa Shahu of London, England. Fond grandfather of Vanessa and Adam. Dear brother of Ballkeze Berdellima, Bukuri Berdellima, Refat Shahu, Liri Lila, Shkelqim Shahu and Suzana Berdellima.

Graveside service Friday, August 12, 2022 2:00 PM at Lisle Cemetery, 979 Ogden Avenue, Lisle, Illinois.
