Thomas Howe III Obituary

Thomas Edward Howe III

December 23, 1997 - February 15, 2022

Tommy was an amazing young man of outstanding kindness, integrity, and faith. His empathy for others gave him the ability to understand and share not only of himself, but to embrace the feelings and emotions of others.  He was everyone's friend. From the moment you met him, his smile and charm warmed your heart.  Tommy was the most humble person you would ever meet and had a heart of gold.  Tommy centered his life around his family and friends. He valued the time he spent with each and every one of them.  We can all cherish the memories and stories of Tommy in our hearts.

Tommy attended St. Patrick's School (K-8), Wadsworth, IL, class of 2012, where he received the Christian Leadership Award. He attended Antioch Community High School, Antioch, IL, class of 2016, where graduated with Cum Laude and High Honors. He excelled in football, volleyball, and Sequoit Media. He was awarded the Daily Herald "Heart and Soul" Award for the inclusion of all students within the school and extracurricular activities. He attended Miami University, Oxford, OH, where he was a dignified brother of the Mu Psi Chapter of Sigma Alpha Mu. Tommy graduated in the class of 2020, where he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, with a Minor in Business Administration, graduating Magna Cum Laude.  He began his career as an Engineer in 2020, where he continued to excel in his field.

Tommy was born on December 23, 1997, in Libertyville, IL.  His life came full circle to his passing, where he was found on February 15, 2022, in Libertyville, IL, after an extensive search.

Thanking God for the gift of 24 years as parents of Tommy are Thomas and Mary Margaret Howe, Jr. of Antioch. Devoted brother of John and Katie. Cherished paternal grandparents Thomas and Ann Howe, Sr. of Glenview and maternal grandparents Robert and Patricia Achille of Hawthorn Woods. Dear nephew of Colleen Howe of Glenview, Cheryl (Ned) McNally of Chicago, Bob (fiancé Rachel) Howe of Chicago, Mary Pat (Mike) Bitter of Hawthorn Woods, Mary Jo (Mike) Piumbroeck of Barrington, and Mary Elizabeth (Justin) Mecher of Port Barrington. Fond cousin of Aseret and Alegre Howe, Jack, Maisie, and Nella McNally, Nicole and Bobby Bitter, Gianna, Jack, and Ella Piumbroeck, Lily and Leo Mecher.

Words cannot express the gratitude held within the hearts of our family for all of the prayers, words of comfort, and support from everyone who helped us find our Tommy. Thank you for giving our family the closure of being able to lay to rest our beloved Tommy.  May the Lord bless you for all your kindness, support, and love given to us.
