Trisha Ann Peaslee, age 48 of Highwood passed away on Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at Highland Park Hospital. She was born March 23, 1977 in Highland Park, Illinois to the union of David Keith and Nancy (Pattarozzi) Smrtnik. She has resided in Highwood her whole life and graduated from Highland Park High School, class of 1995. A proud alumni of Marquette University, she received her bachelors degree in Sociology. She worked as a special education teacher for the North Shore Special Education District for many years. On July 25, 2009 at St. James Church in Highwood she married Aaron Peaslee and the happy couple started their life journey together. Trisha was known for baking a vast number of deserts, especially cakes and was an avid follower of Marquette Basketball. The most special part of Trisha was her love for dogs, her pets held a special place in her heart.

Fond granddaughter of the late Ricardo and the late Tina Pattarozzi. Fond niece of Janet (Joseph) Vitacco and the late Ione Ruelli Ugolini. Fond cousin of many. Cherished daughter-in-law of the late Thomas and Susanne Peaslee. A brother-in-law Benjamin Peaslee and a sister-in-law Monique (Zachary) Foote and three nephews Hayden, Garrett and Leo.
Visitation Saturday, March 29, 2025 from 9:00 until time of funeral mass 10:00 AM at Christ Our Hope Parish, Saint James Church, 134 North Avenue, Highwood, mass 10:00 A.M. Rev. Hernan Cuevas, celebrant. Interment will follow at Ascension Cemetery, Libertyville.
