Virginia Martinez Martinez of Highland Park, IL died on Sunday, May 19, 2024 at the age of 49 years old.  Virginia was born on Jan 26, 1975, in Oaxaca, Mexico to the union of Isidoro Martinez Barragan and Eloidia Martinez. A resident of Highland Park for over 22 years, she worked at McDonalds in Winnetka, IL. She was the loving mother of 7 children: Gabriel (31 years old), David (28 years old), Ramiro (27 years. old), Karina Lizbeth (24 years old), Araceli (22 years old), Jessica (20 years old) and the youngest is Melissa (15 yrs old). Virginia and her childhood sweetheart Justino Lopez, were both raising their children together, when Virginia wasn't busy working at McDonalds.  She enjoyed cooking, music, and playing with her children and the 2 family dogs.  Her favorite was a German Shepherd named Caramelo and of course couldn't resist the antics of their newest member, a Jack Russel Terrier, and some other unknown breed mixed puppy named Lola. Caramelo would be her guardian angel until she went home. And for her "me" time, enjoyed relaxing and watching Mexican novelas which she couldn't get enough of. She truly loved her life and regarded herself as very blessed.
