Wesley was educated in his native land and graduated from Montego Bay High. He was known as Vendor from selling peanuts as a young man, and proceeded to making a living driving a taxi, until he married Denise Catchings and was immigrated to the United States in 2004. Once he became a U.S. citizen, he immediately started working for Jacuzzi (Liners Direct) for 15 years until he retired in 2020 due to health reasons.
Wesley’s kidneys started to deteriorate not long after he came to the States- battling this sickness until the end. Wanting to live a healthier life, Wesley decided to have a kidney transplant on April 15, 2021. This was music to his ears to hear he finally was called for the transplant.
