William Stephen Crowley

William Stephen Crowley, age 79 of Highland Park passed away on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at his home.  He was born February 19, 1942 in Chicago, Illinois to the union of Walter and Kathryn (Kuehner) Crowley. He was raised in Morton Grove, Illinois attending St. Martha's Catholic School, and graduated from Niles West High School, class of 1961 and served in the U.S. Army Reserve.  After graduating high school William worked as a lift truck mechanic for The Eaton Company, then 10 years with the Voss Company and then retired after 14 years with Abbott Labs.  On October 20, 1978 at Trinity Church, Highland Park he married Claudia Hocking.  His passion was Street Rods and was in various clubs also he was in the Cushman Motor Scooter Club a group dedicated to the restoration and preservation of Cushman Scooters.

Beloved husband of Claudia. Dear brother of the late Mary Ann and Kathleen Crowley.

A memorial service and interment will take place later this summer in Washington Island "Door County", Wisconsin.
