William Arthur Sims, Jr.

William Arthur Sims, Jr. was born in Chicago, IL on March 2, 1971. He was the first of three children born to William A. Sims, Sr. and Nancy C. Sims-Moore. His father preceded him in death. 

As a boy, he went to the Kingdom Hall and learned about Jehovah God. He held fast to many Bible teachings and principles in his daily life.

William graduated from Edwin G. Foreman High School in 1989. He received various associate degrees. Then he returned to school to earn a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Columbia College of Missouri. 

Early in life, William learned the importance of hard work. He worked for Marriott International, Inc. for 25 years and simultaneously worked for Atos IT, Inc. for 15+ years as a Telecommunications Analyst. He most recently was employed with Froedtert Medical Group where he enjoyed being manager of Desktop IT, overseeing a staff of technicians until his untimely death. 

In 1991, William met his lovely future wife, Kim, through a mutual friend. They fell in love and started a family with their daughter Kiara and later welcoming their son, Jared. William was always determined to provide for his family and give them the life he felt they deserved. His family meant more to him than anything else in the world. He worked hard to be a good provider and protector. 

William enjoyed landscaping, cooking/grilling, and traveling. He loved vacationing in various places in Florida, New Orleans and cruises with his family several times a year.  

He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

William is survived by his loving wife, Kim Y. Sims; his two children, Kiara Pearson and Jared Sims; his mother, Nancy Sims-Moore; his stepfather, Reynaldo Moore; his two siblings, Jennifer Sims and Raymond (Rosana) Sims, along with a host of nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
