Yijun Zeng, M.D.

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Yijun Zeng who passed away February 19th in LaGrange Illinois after a long battle with Parkinson’s disease. 
He was born in Beijing China, on July 18,1959 and when he grew up he became a doctor. His profession would later take him to the University of Chicago, where he worked as an associate professor and helped so many people, both patients and colleagues. He had a kind heart and loved to spend time with his family. He will always be remembered for his big bear hugs, his love of sweets and his appreciation of life. No matter how hard things were for him because of his disease, he never complained and always kept a smile. He liked to exercise, dance and was always down to go for a cruise on lake Shore Drive. He will be missed by all his family and friends.
